Beyond me why they are going to push this song now. This obviously means there will be no Million Days to Pop Radio anytime soon.

They should have been doing that when MTV and VH1 was playing the heck out of the video.

I dunno... shrug

Thanks NewPower...but there is actually much better news for everyone if you take a look, using the same link that NewPower provided, at the Urban and Urban AC charts. On the Urban chart it shows that "Call My Name" is the 3rd most added song. And on the Urban AC chart not only is "Musicology" still holding strong at #8 on the National Airplay list...But "Call My Name" is getting very strong support early as well. It's listed as 3rd on the AC New and Active list and it's number 1 on the Most Added list.

Looks like radio is really going to give "Call My Name" a great push and that it could be a great 2nd single for Urban radio which means a good chance of it crossing over too.

It makes sense to me, not that Million Days isn't a great choice for Pop radio, I still think it should be released now if possible...but "Call My Name" is clearly in the vain of songs that are working right now. Actually it was funny to me all the people saying that going with a Ballad was a BAD idea for the 2nd single when we all saw what a ballad did for Mario Wynans and it was his lead off single. The radio play that his ballad got along with the video helped propel him above Prince when their albums released the same week. Why then wouldn't "call my name" give Prince the same type of push and support from radio...especially since it's a superior song than Mario's.
