NAME MY BUSINESS FOR ME, PLEASE

HI!! I am an appraiser and starting my own company. I need a name for the company and I want it to be Prince related. I am asking for your assistance because all I can come up with is "Paisley appraisals", and I don't like the way it sounds. Please keep in mind it has to be conservative (appraisers are boring folks). thank you in advance for your suggestions.

I too have my own company, and let me give you my twocents.... that is a ridiculous idea to name your business something Prince related.... c'mon now!

I don't mean to rain on your parade, but I am the owner of an advertising and branding consultancy. Naming your company something Prince related just for the sake of being Prince related is a mistake. A company name should not just be a clever thing you throw together on a whim. A good company name needs to tell a story, convey the company culture, etc. Like I said, I'm not trying to rain on your parade or be a prick. I just think you may be making a mistake by taking this approach. A company name and logo is too important to not take seriously and strategically.

Kendogg,PYSKO et al, the name is only for "paper sake" It is just a d/b/a (doing business as) so I can freelance.

QMCB, u are absolutley right!!! I have an ad- man working on announcment cards, etc AND I have a photography business with a name that is "photo-oriented". I personally do not like businesses that USE the owner's name.. i.e. Martha Stewart. I couyldn't think of a name.

The WINNER IS: BOB GEORGE WITH "CHRISTOPHER TRACY'S APPRAISALS". Although other's thought of it, u were the first to post it. I like it because it is a man's name and this industry is male dominated.
