U2 fan appreciation in Los Angeles Oct. 10

wish I could go to this.

U2 Fan Celebration in Los Angeles; First Ever Los Angeles U2 Fan
Convention To Be Held at the Ontario Convention Center

ONTARIO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 28, 2004--Elevation USA, the
band that seeks to "recreate the total U2 concert experience in both
sight and sound" in their performances, will head to the Ontario
Convention Center on Sunday, October 10th, to take part in the first
ever Los Angeles U2 fan celebration.

"Guru, Viber and DJ" BP Fallon will be in attendance for a Q&A
session

and autograph signing. As the writer of U2: Faraway So Close, Fallon
used thousands of photographs to take U2 fans on the rollercoaster ride
that was ZOO TV.

"With the buzz from U2's newest single, 'Vertigo,' released just this
past week, we're expecting a great turnout," said Greg Flamm, lead
guitarist for U2 tribute band, Elevation USA. "As a U2 fan, I've seen
how these celebrations are a great way to meet other fans and bring
them together." U2 usually has a gap of four to five years between
their tours.

The scheduled events for the U2 fan celebration at the Convention
Center include the live Elevation USA performance, all-day video shows,
door prizes (including autographed copies of Carter Alan's book),
trivia contests and live unplugged band karaoke with the L.A. U2
tribute band Joshua Tree. There will also be an all-day display
featuring rare collectibles from the Irish band.

Collectors and dealers from around the country will be present to
trade, buy or sell collectibles. Otto Kitsinger, rock photographer,
will display his amazing photos of U2.

Also present at the U2 fan celebration will be representatives from
charity organizations Amnesty International, Greenpeace, African Well
Fund, the Peace Museum of Chicago, and Debt, Aids, and Trade in Africa
(DATA), an organization founded by Bono, lead singer of U2 and global
human rights activist. Patrick Bremer from U2Mart and Joel Tanner from
Interference will have tables as well.

The U2 fan celebration begins at 12 p.m. and culminates with the live
performance later in the evening on October 10. Admission is $20 per
person at the door. Special ticket packages are also available. For
more information, please visit www.ElevationUSA.com,
