You're the DJ for a party for David Eye, what's the playlist?

The org has been kind of dead lately....too many threads about current artists. lol Anyway, I'm going to wake you old timers up and steal a thread idea from lisgish. Don't worry lilgish, I'm just going to borrow your idea because your threads are always so great. biggrin

Anyway, it's time to throw a party for one of the nicest, coolest, and most knowledgable guys on the org.....the one and only David Eye. All you old timers come out from your retirement homes and you spring chickens are invited also. Let's put our heads together and throw ole Dave a party he'll never forget. Don't bring the strippers though because this ain't an X rated site, plus we don't want to give Dave a heart attack. lol

What would you play for David Eye? I'll start off with.....

Lots of Madonna, Madonna, and more Madonna....

Funk like Prince, Rick James, Cameo, The Barkays, Con Funk Shun, Lakeside, etc.

Rock and new wave from the 1980s.

We could go on for hours with the 1970s ranging from rock, light rock, funk, and disco. We might need to throw a seventies themed party for him another day and put on afro wigs and bellbottoms. lol

And to make him blush, we would dig in his collection and pull out and play his Brady Bunch Kids album. lol

They're coming. They are just running a little late. The motor broke on The Audience's electric wheelchair and The Real Finess's walker is broken so he's using a cane. As soon as everyone takes their geritol, they'll be here. lol

Wasn't "The Devil In Miss Jones" also a porno flick from the 1970s?

The Devil in Miss Jones

Justine Jones, a spinster in her early 30's takes her life - not because of anything that happened to her but rather because nothing ever happened to her. Each day a void, a nothingness, piled up on the nothingness of the day before. Confronted by the devil and faced with spending an eternity in hell, she imposes the hypothetical premise: if I had my life to live over, I would live a life filled - engulfed - consumed by lust!! This sets in motion a series of erotic encounters that reach far beyond the range of human experiences - an in-depth study of sexual behavior that transcends the norm and blooms into a true form of erotic art.

I think I remember seeing that movie in an old porn theater in 1985, right before the theater closed and video tapes took over the industry. I remember seeing "Behind The Green Door" also.

it inspired the 1976 song "The Devil in Mrs.Jones" by R&B singer Jerry Butler

There was also a porn star named Jerry Butler.
