I've been thinking about that song from their debut album
all day long you know, the one with Kate Moss pole-dancing

I'm curious about their new stuff but haven't heard any
of it yet

I got it not too long ago.. its a rip from a vinyll record.. so the quality isnt perfect, but damn near close..

I think its a good album, but it takes some getting used to. I didnt realize they would evolve into this.. The only thing that bothers me is the spontanious recording they did.. I believe this album was recorded way too fast.

Lots of funny little piano tunes. This sounds worse than it should, but it's a little White Stripes gone Captain and Tenille. I'm kind of liking it though. Definitely not going to be people's speaker-blaster record of the year.

I like the single lots; a mix between Beck and Prince, but I love the Cpt & Tenille comparison too!

The album will take on more colour if you realise the fact it has been recorded from scratch in just two weeks...

Give yourself two weeks to get used to it...

Thats just my problem with it.. its too early to tell, but the overall feel of the album is that its way too rushed.

My feeling is: They've always been a trumped-up garage band, so it should sound tossed off in a way. Kinda hard to do that much with 2 people anyway...

"Take, Take, Take" is my current favorite. I'm looking forward to hearing the proper release.

Wow, thats an extra million sold due to the ass kissing of the writers at rollingstone.

I'm sorry, but this album has quality context, but it doesnt even hold the weight of a four star album..
