MF DOOM!! My latest musical obssession involves Mf Doom.I have been gathering and listening to as much as his stuff as possible. I even downloaded his almost unattainable Operation:Doomsday. He is the quintessential hip hop artist and producer. He is a master. I love his various characters and his live cd blew me away like when I first heard Prince's guitar solo on "something in the water" (from Neon Rendezvous). He just flows and flows almost non-stop. I will get his new box set that will be out soon even though,I have all his instrumental cd's,as well.I am on ahard quest to get an actual cd copy of Operation:Doomsday,MM..Leftovers,and anything else.Check this cat out if you appreciate real hip hop. The live cd and Operation are on par with Liquid Swords by GZA as far as top notch freestyle. Check out his Viktor Vaughn and Dangerdoom stuff, too. Don't be a Sofa King! Welcome to the Doom Generation. Can't find MM. . . Leftovers to save my life.
This is his masterpiece: And if you dig Doom, check out his King Geedorah set Take Me To Your Leader, and his two prior efforts with KMD: Mr. Hood and Black Bastards (shelved for label politics over the cover but released in about 2003 or so) *props to jerseykrs for putting me on . . .* Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016
Props will be withheld until the showing and proving has commenced. -- Aaron McGruder | |
