Am I the only one here who's REALLY enjoying TWEET's Southern hummingbird??

Man, I can see a good future 4 this sista. I just picked up her CD and boy its very breath taking I mean even tho she don't have that powerfull voice like other sistas(Mariah & Whitney) she know how to use it very well(Reminds me alot of Aaliyah) and FUNKY wit those Timbalands/Missy E vibes. Not to mention the woman is a 'musician' she can play drums and acoustic guitar, check out her 'Motel' gawd I love this song soo much its just her and the guitar which was the perfect match 4 her voice. 'Smoking Cigarettes' is another mos def a DOPE SONG the lyrix are the best thang. Basically all the up-tempos are GOOD but this whole LP worth the listening ya'll.

They've Tweet and they call Ashanti the princess of Hip Hop?? Pfff,,,

I was pleasantly surprised by this album. Some great uptempo jams though "Best Friend" and "Smoking Cigarettes" are my favourites.

I'm just a bit bitter because it seemed she was primed to take Aaliyah's place even before her death. mad Give me Aaliyah! love

Simple. Tweet was present on the Missy cribs, filmed before Aaliyah's death, and was showcased as the "new protoge." Tweet appears on Missy's song "Take Away," released before Aaliyah's death. I'm also pretty sure that the material for Tweet's album was recorded before Aaliyah's death as well.

Yeah so what?? She was on Missy's 'So addictive' that was before Baby girl's death PLUS what you mentioned(Including her LP) But(like I said) what does that have 2 do wit Tweet being primed to take Baby girl's placeThat if she was primed in the 1st place?? LOL:o??

I'm still confused over what you said!!!

You yourself mentioned that Tweet reminds you of Aaliyah. This is no mistake. My point is that Tweet's first album and her collaborations with Missy took place before Aaliyah's death, which indicates to me that it seemed like Tweet was going to take Aaliyah's place. That's all. smile I'm not shunning your for liking it. I'm simply explaining why I'm not on the Tweet bandwagon.

Sorry, I don't like this cd AT ALL. Except for a couple of the uptempo songs it is nothing special (IMO of course).

Give me Aaliyah anyday...wink

Tweet is total shit! A fraud in every way! The point duh is that Aaliyah's new album barely has Timba or Missy at all - Aaliyah was phasing THEM out, so T&M had to retaliate by having a new moneymaker ready that would do as commanded. Tweet is a sellout in every way - Verizon commercials? She really is for those with the gayest taste, sorry

You should know that Baby girl is the one who DISCOVERD Missy/Tim but Tweet was the one who's discoverd by Tim/Missy. There're many many many differences bitween the 2 sistas like(Tweet can play guitar/write/produce her shit while Baby girl didn't).

And BTW I'm a straight female who have to be a fan of Both of 'em wink!
