OHHHH CRAP!!! You're absolutely right! pout

I remember thinking how lucky Todd Bridges was, working with a Jackson, knowing that the brothers were, no doubt, stopping by visiting the set! Man, I totally forgot about that until you just mentioned it...

yeah she should re-do her greatest hits cd and add the earlier three lp singles before her control transition. but it's cool my daughter learned all the dance steps.

I remember her being on Dick Clark's American Bandstand, with a bandana tied around her knee, wearing jeans and singin' what I think was "Say You Will". Afterwards, he was gushing all over her (like a proud father) saying how he's known her since she was a little girl (since the Mae West impersonation days).

While he was interviewing her, he kept trying to convince her that she loved acting more than singing, and she was like, "no, I love them both".

Of course, after "Control" came out - she did a couple films but, she pretty much said bye-bye to acting.

U go Janet, you've done quite well for yourself, and u remain the only Jackson to crawl out from under Michael's very large shadow. nod

Awesome and underrated album. nod Produced by not-so-little Foster Sylvers too. "You'll Never Find a Love Like Mine", "The Magic Is Working", and "Young Love" are the best tracks to me. thumbs up!

Too bad she's not making great music like this today. shrug

This is a great album. My favorites are:

Young Love
Say You Do
Come Give Your Love To Me

Those were the three U.S. singles. The CD has the 12" version of "Say You Do" in place of the album version from the original LP.

I thought that was the 12 Inch version. I bought the 45 back in the day, which is an edited version of the 12 Inch. I do recall hearing a different version of the song on the radio back then. I think I even have it on another 45 maybe as a B side or something (didn't they release the 45 twice).

I really love "Pretty Boy"
because it was the bside to the 45 of
"When I Think Of You"

before I even knew about
those previouse 2 albums

it's very "Saved By The Bell"-ish lol
but I'm growing to appreciate
that stuff from that time

YES! Janet don't know how funky that song is...

I still listen to her debut often and i prefer it to "All for you". "Dream Stree" is not good but it has a few songs that are catchy like "don't stand another chance", "dream street" and "communication"

She should seriously perform "young love" , "don't stand anthother chance" and "come give your love to me", they were all minor hits, so why not?

The vinyl LP version is 5:20. The 12" version which is on the CD is 6:50. The 7" version is 3:48.
