i wonder if all 15 of those trax are gonna make it on the album. i have yet to hear anything about for real for real. she told roger friedman there were 3 songs he didnt hear yet and he previewed 9 of them which would lead me to believe the album only has 12 songs on it. hmmmm...

I´ve just listened to Migrate and I don´t know what to think about it. I can´t help it, but I really miss some kind of Emotion in her music or in today´s music in general. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

everytime Mariah comes out with a new album, I always think it's going to suck, but once I hear it, I fall in love. I'm sure the same thing will happen this time, although I hate how she acts like a bimbo.

Has anyone asked if Mariah knows what E=MC² means? Cause' I bet she doesn't. Join the antithesis of the org conservative union!

I can't believe they're releasing a ballad next. We need something a uptempo and banging. I hope it's not syrupy. Oh who am I kidding? Of course it will be. If you don't change, reality in the end forces that change upon you.--S. Wilde

She is one of my fave singers. Love her voice. In her documentary she is a really down to earth person. Edmonton, AB - |

• She will be on American Idol three times: April 9th (Idol Gives Back), April 15th (mentoring the contestants) and April 16th (performance). Ryan said she will get to really work with the contestants and Mariah said she was excited about it.

Hmm, have they not finalized the album yet? Are all tracks up for option? If so, maybe there's still time to take Migrate off or leave it as a bonus track. Or at least an uptempo second single. If we could get the album title changed maybe we can get sone songs changed too.(I'd like to believe the changed the title because of the fans [Edited 3/18/08 7:58am] If you don't change, reality in the end forces that change upon you.--S. Will there be any music on here for her mature fans? For those who dont understand...I'm referring to the 30 and older crowd.

Touch my body and Migrate are obviously geared toward the younger generation. I guess thats what you have to do to stay on top, u have to cater towards the teenagers. With that said, I hope she doesn't completey abandon her die hard fans who were 20 something when she first started out. Well, were now in our late 30's and songs like Migrate with T-Pain is just not what I want to hear, she's too talented for that. I hope the rest of the album is vintage Mariah. I know exactly what you mean. I am one of the older fans and those kinda songs are cute for a minute but there are a whole set of current artists who can cater to the kids. I want my peer artists to cater to me. But overall I think singing about ‘da club’ is completely tired in general. At times Migrate reminded me of R Kelly lyrics. Luv by Janet is too juvenile for me to even get through. Sure they look great and they feel great but mentally where are these ladies at? work it slow in the spring and then have a hot summer song not to mention, janet and madonna have faster, more dance oriented tracks out so, it will work on a different level plus, a ballad is perfect for american idol good move on her part You're probably right and I think she's always released a ballad as the second single anyway. I'm just not a big ballad fan (unless it's a baby-maker-ballad). If you don't change, reality in the end forces that change upon you.--S. Wilde
