I don't really care for her but I like her energy. I liked the backing arrangement and vocalists but couldn't figure out much else...particularly what Fantasia was singing. If you don't change, reality in the end forces that change upon you.--S. Wilde  | |

Simon's clueless when it comes 2 original per4mances. I bet he'd have the same reaction of most Prince per4mances. That said, I loved Fantasia's per4mance. She's continuing 2 evolve as an artist and so has her image. Great vocals and she can dance! "Just like the sun, the Rainbow Children rise."

But this song was waaay too busy for me.She kept doing one of those old skool Gospel music type of screams all over the place. In the black church we describe it as the "like-you-just-been-kicked-in-one-of-your-ribs" scream . Usually one good one is all you need for impact in a single song, though. I am not a fan of Fantasia, but I didn't think the performance was that bad. The music was nice. It was edgy performance unlike the plain ol' vanilla performances that many of her peers give. | |

I don't know what in the hizzell she was saying! I heard some dipthongs and some consonance, but I can't say that I once heard a recognizable phrase. That was a' screamin'!
She wasn't so much dancing as she was strutting like a a thanksgiving turkey that was just plucked and stuffed into a lycra catsuit. She's got talent, but that wasn't a very good display of it. Painful singing. Blanche: Oh, I do love the rain so! It reminds me of my first kiss.
