I didnt think he ever fit with them so i knew he wouldnt be a member. It skind of like when Queen had George Michael fronting for shows, its a great combo, but the two kind of cancel each other out. INXS best move was getting JD Fortune, i hated the idea early on until i heard interviews with the band and that killed my hatred.

I think Sananda and INXS 2gether REALLY work!
It's a novelty that should remain in that period of time, but I wouldn't diss it by any means!

Yeah, I agree that they should have never been a band, only because I prefer Sananda as a solo artist always, but as a one-time-gig (which is what it was) it was a pretty kick-ass performance and they really blended well together!

Interesting but I don't know if it really works for me. I love TTD and I love INXS but Terence is a completely different front man compared to Michael Hutchence.

Was this just a one off gig? Terence was never going to be the new lead singer was he? Those clips do have some real energy it looks like they were having fun.

(always good to see Tron in the house cool )

I'm a big TTD/Sananda fan, but I don't think it worked. I'd always wanted to hear his version of "Never Tear Us Apart," neutral and now I must hear the original, to cleanse my palate.

Mick had a kind of languid, nonchalant cool about his vocals, and his screaming had a different kind of character that I think Terence's vocals really miss.

And, thanks for the vids, btw...

Very nice.

IMO, his vocal approach is right in line with the funky/R&B vibe of tunes like New Sensation and What You Need.

This is similar to my personal preference for the Paul Rodgers interpretation of some of Queen's tunes.
And for me the band also makes the Bad Company songs sound better.

I'm kind of like you on this. I like TTD. INXS as a band, was ok with me but this was nice for a one off performance. I but I don't think this would have been a good pairing for the long run. Glad they got a new lead singer couple years back.
