if one more band i like comes into minneapolis this year, i'm not going to have any money left to buy anyone any christmas presents and everyone i know will be getting "gently used" concert t-shirts this year.

Janet, Tina and Madonna are the ones I'm seriously mulling over.


Sigur Ros and MGMT, if I can get it together to get those days off, since they're each the night before one of the other shows.

i could deal with mary for like 2 songs, then i'd have to go out and take a break for a while. while i'm not a janet fan either, at least the visual aspect is a big part of her show (not to mention she's not a screamy singer) so i'd enjoy watching the eye candy aspect of her show.

that's one of my dilemmas in deciding i want to see her. all of the tickets i'm willing to pay for (at the moment) in the lower bowl SUCK. even the ones on ebay and stub hub.

i'll probably either get them and then try to upgrade, or just go ahead and pay for better seats (if there are even any available).

scalpers @ the venue aren't really an option for me, because it's going to be a monumental task just to GET THERE on time from where i'm at. i don't want to take the chance and go and then not even be able to afford getting into the show.

i'm torn! damn janet. or damn me, for not deciding to go sooner.

It's unfortunate that a setlist wasn't announced until after or I would have gotten them on the first day. did you try goldcoasttickets?

the upgrade thing will probably work, too and there is a habit of pretty great seats on sale a couple of days before a show.
