Michael Jackson -The most famous living person on the planet?

So we know Michael has all kinds of titles-like King of Pop(which he deserves-look at the album sells 2008 thread)

But is he also the most famous living person on this planet?
Reportes often give him this title.
So what do you think?Is there a person who is more famous and known around the world then our Mikey??


By famous I mean that if you held up a photo of the person, the largest number of people would recognize this person?

Yes. I believe MJ is the most famous living human on the planet today, as well as in the past, and probably for several more decades. "Famous" meaning that his name, image(s), and/or skills (music, voice, etc) are known in almost every livable area on earth (I assume that all industrialized populations know of Michael Jackson, but maybe not all tribal/developing countries). Regardless of what that entails, it's still really amazing.
