why are you bothered by other peoples opinions? you over react like some 14 year old fan . im a fan as well but i have serious doubts about this project as well. i mean all these bunch of people i dont like musicly. but your over reacting thats my opinion, who cares what others think ? if you believe in this project then thats your choice.

when i read this interview and the one with ne yo i can only asume that he really wants this album to be a hit , wether we get quality music is another question

When is Michael gonna take a different approach to making music? "I just woke up from a fuzzy dream....you never would believe the things that I have seen".

Several months ago,Carlos Santana revealed that he is playing guitar on a new MJ song that was produced by Quincy Jones.I'm sure that song will be one of the highlights of the album. Here's what MJ should do TODAY:

*(October 8,2008)---Sit down with Quincy Jones and Rod Temperton and listen to all the tracks that have been recorded.Pick the best 12 tracks.Quincy and Rod can act as "executive producers" for this project. They know what works and what doesn't work. *(week of October 13-17)---Compile and master the album.Take photos for the album cover. Schedule a January 13 release date. The first single should be released on December 1st,sent to radio everywhere. That wasn't so hard, was it? . i wonder why mj thinks he needs such big number of musicians / producers to make the best album possible

i wonder the same. His best albums had Quincy and him. Thriller, Off The Wall sound homogenic but each song still sounds unlike the previous one. that's what an album should be like. But on Invincible he worked with so many others and I don't think all the production styles worked.

I honestly don't know why Michael can't just work with one or two producers for the whole album.Too many cooks in the kitchen can spoil the stew.On another thread,I suggested that he work with Raphael Saadiq (six tracks) and Robin Thicke (six tracks). He would have a more consistent, better flowing album. [Edited 10/8/08 7:10am] I don´t think he wants to make another Thriller. Why critise him for his approach. I think that´s what made him and his music so special. I am not sure if it would be possible to release absolutely excellent album without this kind of approach. It would probably be just an average s***. It is tough on the fans, that´s true. But let´s be patient even though, I Thanks for posting this. Reading it, I am all excited to hear something new from MJ. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

MJ created a killer album without Quincy ..its called "DANGEROUS", and History has some of his best work, Do i need to mention "stranger In moscow" ... Getting many producers is not a bad idea, MJ is searching for great timeless melodic tunes , as Neyo said he has been very very selective with choosing the songs , he doesn't have a company telling him to rush the album like what happened with INVINICBLE, he will take his time....lets not judge until we hear it. [Edited 10/9/08 15:37pm] do you think this much freedom will benefit the album? because im not certain of it

Well wasn't he trying to leave Sony at that point? Something happened between MJ and Sony in that period that may have had Michael stopping everything. And then when it got to releasing it, they realize they ain't really solve anything yet on how to promote it? So things shut down? Michael needs to get away from Sony to be assured he has the FREEDOM to do a damn album without stress. Seems like he's stuck on the label to get some profit, according to what some fans are trying to claim right now. From where did you get this information? Mj continued to record songs even after the release of invinicble , and yes the album was rushed, even the video of You rock my world was rushed, sony kept telling MJ that they need to go with the record and release it as soon as possible ,they kept pressuring him and that happens always with recording artrist , its nothing new , thats why the majority of recording artists like to start their own labels , they Just don't like this prerssure.

Sony did NOT rush Michael. He started recording 'Invincible' in 1998 and it wasn't released until late 2001.That's almost four years he had to work on it! If Sony was a little impatient, they had good reason to be.Michael was taking his own sweet time and that costs money!
