Timbaland......and MJ?

hmmm

This might be interesting if they have some new Mj vocals.

Timbaland Drops News Of New Michael Jackson Project

timbaland-michael-jackson-project-lead

Timbaland is prepared to set the world on fire since his recent comeback, playing a major role in monumental projects from Jay Z and Justin Timberlake. As if the anticipation for JT’s The 20/20 Experience: 2 of 2 was not enough, Timbo surfaces in a sinister looking video clip to announce – in a roundabout sort of way – that he will be the brains and the beats behind a forthcoming Michael Jackson project. Heads around the world are exploding at the possibility of what this means for music. After meeting with L.A. Reid, Timbo – a king amongst kings on the boards – is apparently ready to tackle a project that would finally unite his legendary sound with that of the King of Pop. The thought of this happening is enough to send Michael Jackson fans into fits of hysteria. Who knows how wild it will get once the music actually starts to drop. Check the footage below to see the news for yourself. Stay tuned for more!

The thing about MJ is he was getting good at producing himself.

And Timbaland has been around since the days of Jodeci, so you wonder why this didn't happen before 2009?

I love Timbaland but I'd rather hear the original form of whatever MJ's vocals were recorded to.

They already did a REMIX project soon after his death, with Neptunes on it (another production team he passed on).

I'd really only want 2 hear this if Mj's vocals are something that we have not already heard.

Dangerous outtakes can already be heard on Blood On The Dance Floor, so I can't imagine there is too much laying around.

There is probably nothing of note lying around. I wil redo what has already been done.

He will probably try and chop it up.................

The Estate has registered and copyrighted over 30 songs that were worked on in 07 - 09 alone, so i think there is quite a bit laying around. lol.

MJ left plenty of great music around and I have a lot of in my collection. I am of the opinion that the man was a perfectionist in the purest sense of the word and we should appreciate what he left us with: Off the Wall, Thriller, Bad, Dangerous, HIStory, Blood on the Dance Floor, and Invincible.

As much as I feel like MJ would really take to Tim's production style (creating new sounds with damn near anything that produces sound), I would feel better if this could've happened while Mike was still around. He would've challenged him like nobody else could.

I think he does ... I know someone else in sports..coaching... who is like this. He behaves like he invents stuff... while he only recycles ... I believe some people really believe there own stuff to this magnitude.. even when it could not be further removed from the truth
