Quincy Jones Featuring Take Six-Septembro (Brazilian Wedding Song)

While you're cleaning your house this weekend or while you're having that special someone over for a romantic evening...put this slow jam on from Q's Back On The Block album...

True Greatness...in a sexy kind of way

Yea...Sarah was one of a kind...She had so many songs I love...One of my favorite albums from her is
Swinging Easy...Sarah Vaughan And Her Trio. Great performances on that one and in that band is one of my all- time favorite jazz drummers...Roy Haynes.

Me too nod

Shulie-A-Bop is my FAVE # from that album, Dizzy said it was one of the most important bep-bop songs in the bep-bop melody's history.

She also made an unforgettable version of Lady Day's classic "Lover Man",,,I sho would love to hear the story about the 1st meeting between Billie Holiday & Sarah Vaughan,
