Dear Prince... (an update)

Dear Prince,

When you were fighting to be free we all were wondering were it would go but we went along and saw your point.

The only thing you forgot to tell us (or we didn't want to see) is that all things come with a price.

And that price is literally quite high. The music has become harder to get by and if it is there more expensive. The ticketprice for the tour have gone off the scale.
The downside is that I have to pay more to see and hear you less.. And that feels not right.

At this point you more look like a big company that's cashing in bigtime over our backs. If I look at other artist then I see that they take a little more effort for the people who support them (financially and artistic).

Although you never felt obliged to fams because it was their choice I would like 2 point out that they make it possible for you to be you and do your thing.

Peace and love

Eric

I don't mind paying $100.00 to see Prince play live, because his live show is unlike any other...You get your money's worth...BUT...I have read many of the posts here about people being dissatisfied with membership of the NPGMC, therefore, I will not join the club. I do not feel it is worth my money at this time. Things seem unorganized, and that disturbs me as a consumer of music from a guy that I put my trust in. If Prince wants to be successful as a businessman, then he should be running his business in such a way that people don't need to question the integrity of his business. When you are a businessman, you can't have the attitude that you will release your product when, and how you want to, and still expect the majority of your "clients" to purchase your product.

Dear Sensitive, it is worth it to join the club.
The soundchecks and being able to be in the first few rows to see Prince live is well worth the 100 dollars

I agree to that...if I get the tickets (and 'positive''positive''positive' I will). But there was a chance that he wouldn't come this year. So there must be more to make it worth.

Throw it onstage during the soundcheck?
Mail it to the Audubon road in MPLS?

Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.
