Instead of his standard Chanhassen locale, Prince is having a CD release party for his "One Nite Alone -- Live" CDs in Harlem next week at a club called Jimmy's Uptown. Now that's a change of scenery. The singer has been spending a lot of time out East at his new place in Toronto, his wife's hometown. He's about to go even farther east for a European tour. | |

Now ,I don't know if this is a Minneapolis Gossip story or what,but if this is true then I'm royally pissed at Jessica and Chantel at Susan Blond Inc. They told me when I called that nothing was definite on this matter. Now,I find out there is a party in Harlem? What? I think all NPGMC members and Definitely N.Y. members should be allowed to go. What is with this crap again with the press only? Or what is this crap with the publicist being stupid with the fans? I worked in publicity for Atlantic Records this is Bullcrap! I'm sick of this Holier than thou attitude with the fans . I'm sick of the Disrespect we have felt not being allowed into Press only Junkets when it's only 5 of us! I wish Prince would do something with this behavior. I can't stand these people feeling like they are the All Powerful OZ ! I can't stand fans being treated like this. So help me I will go to Al Sharpton's office and explain my case to them if I am not allowed in. One thing I am Truly against is Racism and this is definitely a sort of Reverse discrimination. I will Not have it or Stand for it! Trust me there is Power in Numbers! When I hear Prince is coming to N.Y. I have to go. I just have to see him again lest I die of a fatal heart attack for sure. Boy can I scream and put on a show! | |
