"The Future Sound Of London" also sampled Prince on one of
their albums. I think it's the opening track of the album
with the 3d artwork on it. Papua New Guinea or something
like that. They sampled the opening scream from Lovesexy's
"Eye No".
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I guess Tupac was a serious Prince fan as has been reported elsewhere, cuz he got 3 samples and they're from some songs that wouldn't come to mind immediately for sampling:

"Darlin Nikki"
"The Ladder"
"If I Was Your Girlfriend" (which of course spawned Jay Z and Beyonce's "Me and My Girlfriend")

There's also Blaque's "Bring It All to Me" (produced by Left-Eye) which definitely borrowed from "Gigolos Get Lonely Too" uncredited.

nine inch nails sampled alphabet street at the end of the song "ringfinger" (last song on pretty hate machine). trent took a fairly long piece of the (funkier) beat heard later in the song. also, a very small snippet of sexuality is heard in the digital underground song "dowutchyalike"--right after humpty says "just grab em in the biscuits (ooh) and dowutchyalike (ooh) (prince:: aaooww!!!)". smile

$.02.

The looped scream is Prince's from Gett Off.
