Here's an article just in case people think I'm embellishing. http://www.wtopnews.com/i...sid=397392 Virginia isn't one entity. Northern VA makes all of the money in the state, but alot of it ends up going to southern VA. So we don't see the benefits that we should. NOVA is more liberal. Southern VA is not.

I use it to keep in touch with old high school and college friends. I don't add anyone I don't know (personally or via the org). It's not a popularity contest for most sane people. One of my friends, as she put it, recently "committed myspace suicide" and is now regretting it because it's really convenient to have everyone you know right at your fingertips. I have found people on there that I knew from ELEMENTARY school! It's really great to re-establish those lost connections! I mean, like, where is the sun?

Granted, you do have to sift through a few pages of results (depending on how popular their names are), but it helps if you know what country/state/city/general area they live in, or what they look like now. For high school/college friends, I mostly found them while browsing through other mutual high school/college friends' lists. I mean, like, where is the sun?

I found someone from kindergarten! He was my best friend, then he embarrassed me by professing his love on Valentines day, and shortly thereafter he moved away! I messaged him and he had no idea who I was. Fucker. But I did find another kid from the 3rd grade. He's in the Navy and totally, totally married. I mean, like, where is the sun?

I have most all my friends that I hang out with on myspace. We post funny messages and pics to each other, make announcements, send emails. I also just opened a music myspace account too, but that's under development. it's also a way to express your personality. My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid
