Inside I was totally freaked out. On the outside I just nodded and agreed lol

My mom is totally cool. She's a great person. Like I said, I think that she was trying to "save" me more than anything else.

i wonder what the REAL fear that parents have that "we" as their children decide 2 do things different with our lives then what they xpect.

is it that some1 gay won't have children or & husband or wife like people "in the norm" or what?

i know if i came out & told my Mom/Father & StepFather i was gay i wonder what they'd say (or do)...

Actually my mom cried when I told her I was gay. She said that she wanted grandkids. I told her "Mom, you have 4 other kids, you'll have grandkids". She said she wanted them from me. sigh I can understand her pain. It turns out that I don't even want kids anyway so even if I was straight, I wouldn't have them either.

My dad is Mexican and used to have machismo issues. I'm sure he took solace in the fact that he had other sons. As it stands now, my dad absolutely adores me. He has said that I'm his hero. Because I had such a hard time in life, he respected and loved that I made it through despite all the hurdles and hardships that stood in my way.

My parents are wonderful. I understand their disappointment that I didn't take the path they expected me too but they have shown me that they love me all the same.

Same here. They HATED my love of Prince and once even held up my rented copy of 'Prince and the Revolution--LIVE' as what was causing my "attitude problem."

The funny thing was I took them to the Jam of the Year concert and they had a GREAT time...

Hey, I'm half-Mexican too! smile smile

I'm heterosexual but I was never a macho shit-kicker which predicatably led to accusations of being gay when I was a teen.

Imagine what it was like when you are gay!! Oh man. It's so great being an adult because if 1 person in my family even dared to give me one ounce of grief about my sexuality, they would be sorry because I wouldn't stand for it. Not for one second.

told me about how good a vagina felt when I was 16. She told me about the natural function of it and how it would lubricate itself and how it fit perfectly around a penis. She told me how soft it was inside. I know she didn't have these conversations with my straight brothers!!

She wanted me not to be gay so bad that she was actually trying to tempt me into straight sex! The only thing that would have been worse would have been if she offered to show me herself! omg
