NPG club I wanted to join the club and read the stuff U get when you join but alot of people say it isnt true - you dont get chose tickets and backstage stuff. whats the real deal? | |

But they don't deliver. and I say you are full of **it. By the end of 2002 all members will get 4 CDs and access to presales. End of story. This past year, I went to a bunch of shows via the presales, got my groove on, and had a great time. I got my first CD and am expecting the next 3 very soon. What the hell did YOU sign up for? Private dinner with Prince? Autographed condoms? A private concert with just him, Wendy and Lisa in your bedroom? Maybe your expectations were not met and he didn't deliver. But mine are just fine and I have a sneaking suspicion yours will NEVER be met. Must be fun to be you.  | |

I think that it was totally worth very $$ that it costs. I got front row tickets to the show, a 1 hour question and answer period with Prince instead of a soundcheck, 1 free CD so far and three more coming, plus... oh i guess that I shouldn't forget - the afterconcert party. I got to spend almost two hours talking with him and a few other people... so membership does have its perks. I'm not saying that all this will happen with every member who joins, but just knowing that there's a possibility of getting some of these things, isn't that enough temptation to want to join? I highly recommend it to anyone thinking about it. The people that complain here about the NPG Music Club should 'gett off' the threads, cancel their memberships and find something more entertaining to do with their time. Prince is human and his NPG site and club is still very young... if there are any problems or issues, the people should cut him / the club some slack. Everybody's learning here... isn't that what life is supposed to be about??? | |
