I really, REALLY, REALLY! don't care about Prince and his mingling with celebrities. That's not what Prince was about to me. That's not what PRINCE was about. On top of that, people like Mariah Carey are NOTHING. Is this whats behind prince moving to LA? Because he's become LA-like?

I think the whole "issue" with the parties is, they're supposed to tie in somehow with this whole "3121" vibe and for a little over a year now, all we've gotten are Violetized blurbs of all these A'List majority parties. Whoopie. 
Now the regular folks are starting to feel restless and a bit leftout because we all know that on March 21, Prince and Universal won't be expecting those A List folks to be up in Best Buy or whereever else trying to cop "3121". They'll be looking to us regular folks for that. 
Of course we'll be there but geez...can't we get a little incentive up in here? | |

I don't get why people are so bitter about P mixing with other celebs. When Puffditty, Star Jones, Jay-Z, etc., were throwing those "White" parties in the Hamptons I don't recall their "fans" having a hissy because it was celeb party which someone (be it E-Online or a random fan with a hook-up) blathered on about it.
I guess my point is that even if he did have something for the fans everyone couldn't go anyway. And those that went would brag incessesantly about it. And it would be this whole "I made eye contact with Prince", "Prince flirted with me", or "prince stepped on my foot and didn't say excuse me" bullshit. For those that will say that wouldn't happen they are just kidding themselves. This happened with the Paisley Parties and the Glam Slam club thingy's when Prince decided to show up. Then there is the matter of the celebrations where fans were stealing shit from P's kitchen and taking videos that happened to be out in the open.
