The REAL reason Prince has been silent. (You make want to make this a sticky)

Hello folks, I going to list a few reasons why Prince has been so silent lately.
This is coming STRAIGHT from the man so relax.

#1. Prince has been busy remastering his entire official catalog including the stuff from the 1990’s. There is going to be a big release around Christmas time of this year. He has 4 albums to complete before the set is ready. Included in some of the sets will be BONUS material (DVD), unreleased songs, and extra cd’s of music. Albums that will contain extra material are:
1. For You
2. Dirty Mind including the songs Brass Bed, American Jam and Lisa
3. Purple rain will include a 17 minute version of computer blue, the demo of doves cry complete with bass and strings, a separate cd with the 1st ave concert, and the some other songs by the Time
4. 1999 will contain an extra disc of unreleased music including Purple music, Extra lovable, and Moonbeam levels
5. Sign of the Times will include the song Adonis and Sheba, the 12: of Dorothy Parker, and some other 12”
6. Diamonds and Pearls will contain 12” mixes and Shockadelica
7. Batman will contain the original Rave track

There will be a BOX set of all of this material released right around Christmas time. And the Prince will be kept as LOW as possible.

#2. Wendy, Lisa, Brown Mark, and Sheila E are back along with Reneto on keys. They are practicing as we speak. The tour starts in July. The U.S. will be the 1st leg.

#3. The Vegas thing was just a warm up for Tamar’s band. That is NOT Prince’s touring band for the upcoming tour.

Are you saying that Prince will start touring in July? Where did you find this information?

Is there something known also as "A June's Fools Day"?

as much as i hope so... i have to say this is not true. why would he mix songs like that?

If this was real I'd be a little annoyed, 'cos it would mean I'd have to buy all of his albums...again! Isn't it bad enough collecting them all without then having to do it again?

Wouldn't he have to work with Warner Bros., in order to make such a thing a reality?

but i do now recall that in the 92/93 or so he was also a WB executive of some sort. it was likely just on paper for tax reasons but i seem to remember that...

but my point is: why the heck couldn't they work together? they did in the past. and like divorced parents... if they love their kids... they can work it out...
