I'd give my left arm to hear Prince do a full-blown jazz/funk/rock cover of The Beatles' "I want you (she's so heavy)".

I don't want Mike to stay in Vegas! I want him here in Houston!

When you get him please keep him there locked away from anyone else.

Actually I could go for Prince doing a version of Strawberry Fields
or Why Don't We Do It In The Road.
I think the songs written by Lennon would be more his type.

Have you ever heard "Blackbird", "Michelle", "Eleanor Rigby", "Here There and Everywhere", "Lady Madonna", "Something", "In My Life", or "Helter Skelter"?

The Beatles were much more than "I Want to Hold Your Hand", and "She Loves You (yeah, yeah, yeah)"...

and "Can't Buy Me Love," "Day Tripper," "Hello Goodbye" all = bored

Look... the beatles may b good 4 U'all, but do u seriously want 2 hear Prince doing their songs? Come on, Prince... U can do so much better than that.

I agree with you, Beatles have a lot of wonderful songs, I just bought the CD 'Love'. And didnt P just do 'The long and winding road' with Elton John?

"Why don't We Do It In The Road" is a McCartney song. He also authored "Helter Skelter".

I just heard on the local radio station that March 31 is the last day Prince will play in Las Vegas because he's going on tour. and working on a huge Beatles project. And MJ might take over 3121 and call it Club Thriller. neutral

We must have been listenting to the same station at the same time. I heard that too but when they were talking about Michael Jackson and club thriller I thought the DJs were just being smart-a$$e$ and just joking around.

Hmm, I thought Vincent Price has passed away over a decade ago. Maybe his voice is being recycled for the Thriller production on the Vegas strip. But would then he not be coming to vegas, not "no longer in Vegas". Someone clue me in please. Nice to hear Vincent get some recognition.

Now for some Price trivia:

Before Vincent Price did the narrative on "Thriller", whom did he do the same for previous? Hint: think "Nightmare"

Ok, don't suppose anyone will respond to my Vincect Price trivia, so the answer to what narrative Price did prior to his work on Thriller was Alice Cooper's song "devil's food" off "Welcome to my Nightmare".

nix the jazz part, and I would want to hear that too... When Will We Get Paid style.

The original has a kind of jazzy-vibe as well, I think you need to stay true to that. The song needs a "living" beat IMO, no drum machine.

Sooooo . . . .Beatles project for Prince huh? Wonder if this means he and Michael will have to work together on negotiations of some sort since Mikey owns the rights to the Beatles catalogue now. . . . this is indeed getting more interesting! lol
