This week we will most likely have a verdict.

Maybe today... who knows?

It's been a long time coming...

Your thoughts?

As I said in a related post, forget about Michael, this could damage Janet's career. Depends how she plays it. Seriously, if her brother did it and is found guilty, I don't think she should associate with him until maybe he gets ouf of jail and not just for her career. That is honestly the position I would take. I'll admit I have a distant relative who is in jail for a similar crime and this is a guy who has been getting in all sorts of trouble for years! He's definately the black sheep and is talked about like a dog, as he should be. Way off topic but I really hope Michael's antics don't her. They never really did in the past.

Whacking her titty out on a Sunday afternoon and her last three albums all sounding the same are Janet-created problems. Her poor sales are her own doing..

Nothing to do with Michael. She stands and falls on her own.

Lucky for you that you can shun a 'distant relative' so easily. Difference is Janet and Michael are tight, always have been.

Maybe Janet Jackson should make a decent album. Something she hasn't done since 1989. Without Wacko she wouldn't even HAVE a career. mad

Now, is it better (for Michael) if it takes longer for the jury to find a verdict or worse? I heard conflicting arguments. I guess you cannot really say.

Sometimes justice sucks.
Nobody is 100% sure he did it or not. So in the end he might have done it and be declared non guilty or not have done it and be declared guilty disbelief

P.S.:I would consider a guilty verdict on Prince's birthday like a bad joke confused

Some people actually care about their family more than their careers. It's not like people don't know they're related or that she cares for him. Running away now is pointless or heartless at the very least.

I'm sure it will be difficult for her and who knows... out of this maybe better music will come since she'll undoubtedly be in a different place.

As for Michael, if he's acquitted I don't see how he can just jump into making music or touring full-swing. The trial has been too physically and emotionally taxing.I'm afraid he'll feel he has to prove he's not going to be stopped or that it's business as usual and rush back into making music too quickly.

If he's found guilty and has to do any sort of jail time--four months or a few years--I can't imagine how that's going to effect him. Even a special prison will be tough for him. For one, there are no kids in prisons and he'll miss the interaction terribly. Two, he's used to coming and going as he pleases and there'll be none of that. Then just the basic anger of being confined especially when you're innocent or at least feel that you're innocent. It will be a tough adjustment no matter how you look at it.

Some of his brothers or sisters weren't there... I've never seen Marlon during all the process, I've never seen Rebbie during all the process...

Don't know why...

If janet shows up publicly, it's because she's absolutely convinced of his innocence, nobody knows if he is really guilty, nor her either. But if you were in the same position than Mike and you weren't guilty, what would you think if your brothers or sisters were distant from you ???

For janet, her family and the good people who defend Mike during this process, I hope he will be acquitted...

I don't care much about Mike...

It is but he's the one that said he would die if he could never see another kid or something like that. Four months with no playmates... he'll be climbing the walls. Heck, maybe that's what he needs to do. Go cold turkey and lay off the kids. It'll be a form of rehab.
