I just discovered this channel on sattelite a few days ago and am completely blown away... they show concerts, interviews and features on old and new Jazz, Soul & Funk 24x7.... and what a porgram that is!

Guessed it had to be based outside of this country. You're blessed.
You see, we have little to no respect for any historic musical talent here in the U.S. to devote an entire TV channel to it.

A smattering of independent/college/satellite radio stations that cater to those kinds of artists are the best we've got.

the channel is from France and maybe not available in the US. I didn't understand a lot from what's written on their website (even though my wife of 15 years is French Canadian ...)
I'm not even sure if I could "officially" receive it here in Austria. so far I'm just seeing it through the "backdoor" via card-sharing but in that case I would be willing to pay for it, especially since now I'm having short drop outs every now and then. definitiely gonna find out more on how to get it officially


but see the good part about where you live, while I was in fact having my morning coffee 30 minutes ago to Trombone Shorty playing Sunny Side Of The Street, you could see him in reality on Santa Monica Pier yesterday

I had it free for a month and then it went behind the decoder. I liked it a lot, but I am not willing to pay extra for it.

depends on the price, and if I can get it alone or just with a big package of dozens of other channels I never watch
