Do you think Prince ever made a tape of a Sly Stone CD and gave it to a friend?

Think he ever recorded a movie and gave a copy to Larry?

The problem he's facing is a reaction to the unquantified DEMAND for this material that, for whatever reason, he won't make available himself. Instead he's chosen to charge us all $100 bucks for...what...5 new songs this year so far? Plus the "opportunity" to shell out huge bucks to see him perform - that is provided we've all spent the money for computers and ISP's.

It's as if he's trying to kill roaches by stepping on them one at a time, rather than simply sell us pesticide.

Here's another one. If a fan uses a cell phone to let someone else listen in on the show, is that an offense? What if in the other end they record the show?

Interesting huh? Discuss.

1. I guess it would not be allowed too.
2. You'd end up with a really crappy recording.

They can't stop the bootleggers, and with that e-mail they gave more than a reason to get into the concert with a recorder. just like some kind of challenge!

and 1 more thing before I go, if they're trying 2 stop bootlegers how come some sites are still selling bootlegs? and how come they are so easy 2 find?

And what about the Indianapolis EP from the latest ona tour, the sound came directly from the mixer!!! not from the audience!!!

Think about it!!!

Are u all sure P and his crew are not involved with it?

Prince released the Indy EP himself to local radio stations. What they did with it after that, ie selling it on ebay, buring copies or uploading it to filesharing groups was completely up to them.

Prince - Wembley Stadium 1993 - "Next time bring a tape recorder"

Prince - Hammersmith Apollo 4/10/02 - "There aren't any bootleggers in here are there?" (Sarcastic audience response of "No") Prince smiles. "Nah, it's okay"
