"The One U Wanna C" shows Prince's mastery of making catchy rock-pop songs that make you dance...This song shits on "So Far..." because of the fact that it comes off much more natural...To me, "The One U Wanna C" belongs in the same family as "Raspberry Beret," "Take Me With U," "ICNTTPOYM" and the like...Prince is having fun again...This is quite simply a strong, confident effort that as someone else said shows Prince not forcing the issue...He's not TRYING to be Prince...He IS Prince on this one...

I've never said this before in my life Wall...But if you don't find yourself bobbing your head on this one, you may come off as a cat that you either a) just want to hear the Prince that made quirky, weird, leftfield music (And believe me Wall, that element is on Planet Earth...), forgetting that at his best, Prince was a master of the pop-rock-R&B hybrid song, massive hooks and all; or b) Nothing the man does will ever be sufficient enough for u as a fan...lol...

To me this particular post may show that you are in the realm of (B)...

By the way, this isn't hard rock, but it's more rock n roll in it's true form than most of the "rock" out there today. People forget (or just don't know) where rock n roll came from, go listen to some early rock and listen to this... Rock was more like black country music when it was born.
