What's the worst ballad ever.......

So many 4 me but.....

"Hero" Mariah carey-sorry mriah fans, but this was sickly shit and at the time seemed even worse as so many songs sounded like this

or..... (in close 2nd)

"Against all odds" Mariah Carey and Westlife- I actuallt love the Phil collins original which is proberly why i hate this cover-no emotion by anyone involved and is just crap really.....here original 4 passion and actually emotionally believable singing too.....

There must be more, but that's all i ca think of 4 now.....

" Freaky wit you " by Silk.
"Knockin da boots " by H-Town
" UHH, AHH" by Boys II Men
" Whatt you won't do for love " by Bobby Caldwell. I preface this by saying I'm quite tired of hearing the Quiet Storm sation in my area play this ALLLLLTHETIIIIIMMMEEE like it's his ONLY song.

" U got it bad " by Usher. Sorry if I went over the quota.

Most slow songs by nsync and Backstreet Boys would qualify here. Lots of power ballads from the '80s are really bad, despite being 'nostalgic'.

Why Can't This Be Love? by Van Halen has one of the worst lines ever:
"Only time will tell if we'll stand the test of time"

Er, what?

Vanilla Ice had that horrible ballad, can't think of the name right now.

No wait, I have it - that Milli Vanilli song containing the line "like a honey bee you took the best of me." Sammy Haggar must have done some moonlighting that year.
"She made me glad to be a man"

"I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)" by Aretha Frankliin and George Michael

Not only was the age difference genuinely freaky, but the song was utter crap! This definitely was not an exception to the rule that states celebrity duet pairings are always less than the sum of their parts.

Oh, I had forgotten about that one.

Anyone ever see the great MAD TV parody of that song?

I'm Not A Child

Verse 1:
What did you think?
Did you think I wasn't up here selling sex to you?
I mean come on
If my jeans were any lower you could see my prize, yeah
If you don't get it by this time
Let me make it perfectly clear

Chorus:
I'm not a child (I'm not a child)
It's okay to nail me (it's okay to nail me)
I'm so sick and tired, so freakin' sick and tired
Of beating around my bush.

Verse 2:
Look at this blouse
My god these things are almost falling out of it
What more do you need?
Do I have to stand here naked with arrows pointing at my pubic bone?
I'm throwing the metaphors at you.
A snake and a pole and a cane
(I'm not a child)
You're watching porn right now do you understand
(It's okay to nail me)
If you don't get that you're an old and gay man
For you I'm a slave
And what I mean is a sex slave
Oops, I will say it again
I'm not a child (I'm not a child)
Come on let's do it
I'm not a child (I'm not a child)
Fill me up and get to it
I'm not a child (I'm not a child)
Put your back into it
I'm not a child.

i'm a sucka for a beautiful melody. even if the lyrics are corny, i'm lost in the tune. smile
