Voting Time Over for Org Top 50 Albums

Thanks for playing, results are posted now!

We all see the lists, and they always leave our favorite albums off, or they put the Arctic Monkeys two spots ahead of it.

Has the Org ever done its own top 50 albums ever?

If yes, never mind. If not, list your top 25 albums (25 will be easier for me to work with, but I'll compile the top 50) EVER.

Most will probably be post 1950 pop music, but if you list Billie Holiday or Charlie Christian that's fine with me, too.

LIST THEM IN ORDER--#1's gets 50 points and #25's gets 26 points.

I'll compile the top 50 point-getters in a week or so.

1) this should be a sticky if it's to be definitive
2) wouldn't it be more exciting/interesting if we were to Org note these picks so it could be more surprising?

whatve you got d'angelo on there for. if you're going to just empty prince's discography into your list go the whole way. put chaos & disorder in there or something. i mean ok, that album sucks, but you do have the rainbow children at #1 so clearly such things dont bother you wink

The problem about such a poll on the org. is that half the albums will probably be by Prince, hence making the poll almost as bias a the NME poll.

Maybe there must be a rule about how many albums by the same artist can you post. No more than three for example....

I don't think there should be any rules. This is the prince.org top 50; if half the albums are by Prince so be it. If you want poll results with no Prince albums then go to michaeljackson.org.
