PrintableThat's one of the best Prince TV performances I've ever seen.....almost as awesome as the Super Bowl in my opinion...it was that good!
They did "The Word," "Get On The Boat," "The Glamourous Life" with an INCREDIBLE solo by Sheila E., and then Prince and Sheila walked away hand in hand as the band played "Love Bizarre." AWESOME PERFORMANCE!!!!! If you missed it, definitely make a point to catch it when someone puts it on youtube. | |

The camera caught just about all his band members as well. About an 8 minute performance but quite a few songs covered in those 8 minutes and worth it. Hell Yeah... The Twinz were on fire !!! Did you see that guy throw one of the Twinz up in the air and caught her and flipped the other one over his back? Maya and Nandy really stepped up their game. | |

hey does anyone know if there is any reason to keep watching this? I had my DVR set and just walked in to catch the very end (loved the exit!)...am about to replay but stopped taping. Is there likely to be anymore Prince or Sheila later in the show?
Going to rewind and watch now.....  Ask where they're going, they'll tell U – "Nowhere"

What did you all think of the band (not NPG) the Grupo Fantasmo or whatever their name is? It was basically Prince's band playing with Grupo Fantasmo joining in but it was basically Prince's band holding it down. | |

God... I love my DVR I thought they were going to sing it too, but Sheila looked a little exhausted, but I'm sure that's due to her busy schedule. Prince looked proud to be around her and it was so cute when he put his arms around her. [Edited 6/5/07 18:36pm] | |

What did you all think of the band (not NPG) the Grupo Fantasmo or whatever their name is? I never even notice the twins so I can't tell you what they were doing. Prince and Sheila outdid themselves. Renato as well. I didn't care for Grupo Fantasma when they were at the Hard Rock but their horns added a lot to Get On The Boat tonight. Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise. | |

Also, I think the Twinz were great. I don't think they sang, just danced, which I think makes more sense. Having real background singers makes more sense. | |
